Woolleys Classic Suites

We had an early morning flight out of the airport, and there were a lot of hotel choices in the area. We chose Woolley's because of the online pictures, showing lovely landscaping and koi ponds. Also, it had a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Trip Advisor. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed were the construction walls throughout the facility. The entire inner section of the hotel was walled off, and the view from the other levels was of a giant dirt construction area. This was still during the summer travel season, so surprising there was no pool or spa available. The restaurant was also under construction. We had some difficulty getting our key card to work in the elevator. I assume they were trying to make improvements, but at no point was any information provided to indicate this. Thankfully we were leaving in the morning, so didn't have to experience all the noise that probably takes place each day in the morning. Would definitely think twice about staying again and probably wouldn't unless there were No other options.

Currently under loud and dirty construction. The room was okay but the bathroom floor was obviously filthy! The staff was unfriendly and looked irritated when you asked questions. No restaurant in the hotel. The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable and I kept hoping the sheets were clean but was unsure. Do not stay here until construction is completed and they hopefully get their act together!

I’m in a nice room, but the hotel overall is a mess. It’s under MAJOR construction. No restaurant. Banging, drilling, and noise that comes into your room. Smell of dirt. Difficult to do work in my room to prep for evening event. The website understates the extent of work being done. Stay away until they’re done.
