Well, the best thing about this motel was the ease of booking it. The next best thing was when we drove away after 2 days. The first clue of what was to come was having to call a number to check in. The lady who answered had a relative pass away, that’s why she couldn’t answer. So we got our key from the old newspaper stand by the front door. She said to grab 2 room fobs because she didn’t know which room would be ready….at 6:00 PM! I went around the corner of the building to check out the 2 rooms. Well, the pet rooms I guess are next to the long term renter. I opened the first door and the smell reminded me of the humane society, the second room was better but it looked as though the sheets were not changed, they were all bunched up. Not only that, this room was next door to the long term which was next to a room that had the broken window covered. We decided to stay with the horrible smell hoping we could cover the smell. I called the lady back to tell her which room we had. She said we could check in in the morning. So we get ready to leave and I go to my relatives room and hers smelled better at least, but had two holes where fists had gone through the bathroom door. But it gets better! There were NO TOWELS IN ANY OF OUR ROOMS. So, another phone call. When we return we realize we have NO TOILET PAPER! So I go get some to get through the night. My husband goes to shower, I’m getting ready for bed when all of a sudden my door gets knocked on. I ask who it is and it’s the housekeeping lady. She said we need to go to the front desk to check in at 10:30 at night. She said she could take our CC but knew we probably didn’t want to do that. I said I’d go in the morning that I was in bed. She said f we didn’t go up we’d have to LEAVE!! So I go up to pay, eve though I’d made reservation with my card! I go up and check in and I don’t have to pay! While I’m in there the person who moved into the room next to us came in demanding a refund because there where moths in his bed, it was dirty, and smelled! He left. When I was leaving another guy came in furious that he’d been woken up to come “check in”. I mentioned to the owner that our room really had a bad smell. He said that people don’t take care of their pets that’s why it stunk. And it’ll be $15 a night for my dog. I think they could clean the carpets and clean the box springs for that. The next morning we left, my head was hurting because of the smell. Our second night was even better. We got woken up at 4:15 with an argument from the long term room dropping f bombs outside the room and their dog barking crazy. It didn’t settle down until 6 a.m. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!

We pulled in at midnight and didn't have any access to phone service so we were unaware of the reviews. The sign out front said free breakfast. We were later told that they were not offering breakfast due to covid. They told us they only had 1 smoking room available for 150. I said we didn't want smoking so could we get it for less. Sure $130. We walk into room 108 and it is the worst smell ever. I sit on the bed and I can feel the board throught the mattress. We go back to the front desk to get a refund, but the man said that he just recieved a concelation and a non smoking room was open. 204 had better smell and thicker beds, but I agree with previous reviews that said their were stains on the sheets. Everthing was just sneaky. I wasn't a fan.

0/5 stars. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The customer service and management is terrible. The family running this place is very rude. You can hear everything through the walls. The carpet was covered in dog hair and my kids couldn't pass a ball in the grass because it was filled with dog poop. I need to check out a couple days early because of a change in plans, and they refuse to refund it and never disclosed that the price was non-refundable. While heading out the door, they scoffed. The breakfast bar and ice machine have been closed the entire stay, even though it's included with the price. They didn't offer a replacement or discount for this. Housekeeping was supposed to stop by once a week, and we're lucky if they do once every 2 weeks. I've had to call the front desk when I needed toilet paper, towels, etc. and they tell me to call the housekeepers room directly and ask for it and she says she'll do it the next day cause she's already winding down for the day.. So I just started buying my own. The refrigerator in the room is broken and it won't freeze anything, so don't try to. The room door and bathroom door don't close properly. The shower curtain rod is broken. The lamp shade is broken. The drawers were dirty, and I had to clean them myself when i got there. There's 2 chairs and they both have stains on them. Someone booked the room next to me and I heard them say "what's that on the bed?!" And they immediately left... so there's that, too. I would NOT stay here again, and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This is the longest review I've ever written... but I don't want anyone else to experience this. Wait until you get to the next town.
