Everyone here is overreacting too much!! Yes, this place is a little dated, yes some things could use a little sprucing up, but everyone here is so dramatic! When you pull up, right off the bat you could tell that this used to be a Sleep Inn. EconoLodge and Sleep Inn are both owned by Choice Hotels. Same chain brand just different hotel brand. Looking at the reviews, I thought “oh, what the heck am I getting myself into here” but I was very surprised to see that my experience was fantastic!! The room while dated is clean. Old carpet, but clean. Furniture is a little worn but not awful. Bed linens are quite nice and are clean. Towels are also nice and clean. The breakfast was good thankfully, again not something I expected. The front desk agent was friendly. I read some reviews on surprise deposits and I did not get hit with one. The staff that I interacted with was friendly. I didn’t interact with many because I was in-and-out kinda quickly, but they’re nice so that’s good. Believe me, everyone who posts a negative review is overreacting. This place is not that bad.

I’m not sure it could get much worse than this hotel. Our room was rode hard and the only thing I felt was clean were the sheets and towels, thank goodness! The bedspread was not more than a scarf, the sink and counter were so scuffed up and caulking everywhere, the faucet was loose and didn’t match the cheap towel bars, the furniture gouged, one bed squeaked so badly my dog thought we were being attacked every time my husband would turn in bed, the window was unlocked and overlooked the worst kept “yard” with random odd “indoor” chairs scattered. I could go on and on but the worst part is to charge a pet fee for our dogs who would NEVER have an accident indoors and are groomed monthly. They were cleaner than the hotel and the grass area provided for dogs was nothing more than a weedy mud pit. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone but especially people who love and are traveling with their dogs!

Terrible terrible terrible! We are leaving in the morning and I couldn’t be happier. Drug addicts everywhere. There were two people dozing off in the breakfast room. Stains on bedding that look like bed bug stains. I don’t have enough money to book elsewhere so we are stuck here. Shower door is broke, dirty walls, cigarette burns in the sheets. We had to buy air fresheners to try to cover the urine smell. This hotel needs to be condemned. I’m worried about my car outside because there’s drug addicts all around the building and someone was literally shooting up in the car next to us. I’ve never stayed in a hotel this bad. Stay away! Front desk was nice I guess.
