Copper Junction by Copper Vacations

The resort doesn’t require owners to upgrade old mattresses. We have been trying different units in Passage Pt since 2022 and the problem hasn’t been fixed. I have made suggestions multiple times to swap out worn master bedroom mattresses but the resort has told me they don’t require owners to replace them. This last year was the worst yet in unit 610. I may have to switch to VRBO and owners that actually care about their guests getting a decent nights rest. This last mattress had such a huge divet on one side of the King that half the bed is unusable.

Only plus is that Mountain Plaza hotel location is convenient with nice view of the slopes. Housekeeping is dishonest. I left some clothes hanging in the closet in my room. I called the front desk about 2 hrs after checking out. They were able to get most items shipped back to me at my expense which is fine, but somehow they weren't able to find my Melly. Housekeeping claims it wasn't there. BS, it will probably show up on Ebay for a nice profit. Why did I bother tipping? Not much I can do about it but rant and warn others to double check the room for all items before leaving because if it is anything of value the housekeeping staff at this hotel will swipe it. Another option is to just not stay here and if you do I wouldn't tip them until they root out the offender. I can update this review if they ever fix this. Another note is this is a pet friendly hotel. If there is a dog barking in the room next to you security can't do anything about it since these are privately owned condos.

I visited Copper Mountain with my partner and stayed at the Mountain Plaza hotel for 6 nights in a "hotel-style" King Room in January 2022. Cons: Room needs updating King bed is too large for the space Futon that served as a couch was quite old and rickety feeling Shower and toilet area was very cramped Toilet was extremely old and flushed poorly Coffee maker cord did not reach nearest outlet - had to be set on vanity to be used Pros: Close the lift Close to eateries Ski lockers provided Outdoor hot tub was nice Parking was covered in 10-mile lot (non-kitchen units) Friendly and helpful staff Overall, my partner and I came to ski not to sit in our room. The skiing was excellent and the room was low average. The best thing about the room was that it was clean. The most annoying part about the room was a lack of space to walk around the King Bed. They would have done better to put a Queen with night stands on either side and space to get into bed without crawling from the foot of the bed. Another strike for no night stands (we both are glasses wearers and that would have been nice!). I would come back to Copper to ski, but at $184/night plus taxes and fees I am not so sure if I would choose to stay on the resort again. I honestly felt that that the Comfort Inn in North Platte had a nicer room than what we stayed in on the resort.
