Hampton Inn & Suites Denver-Downtown, CO

Do not stay here. I returned to my room at 10:00 PM only to discover the air conditioning was completely broken. The room was unbearably hot and it was impossible to sleep. When I asked the staff for a different room, they refused to accommodate me. The AC was never fixed during my stay, leaving me trapped in dangerous heat all night.The management is completely unprofessional. I tried calling the manager for four straight days to resolve this, but they intentionally ignored every single one of my calls. It literally took a call from their own corporate office just to force the manager to contact me. When they finally called, they denied my refund. This hotel takes your money, provides an uninhabitable room, refuses to fix it, and then ducks your calls. Avoid this place at all costs!

I stayed at this hotel in downtown Denver while visiting the Colorado State Capitol, and it was a great choice for my trip. The hotel is within walking distance of the Capitol, though it's also just a short drive away. I found the walk to be safe and convenient. My flight into Denver was significantly delayed, so I didn't arrive until very late at night (early the next morning). The hotel was able to accommodate my late check-in without any issues, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was good, and the Wi-Fi was reliable enough for me to work remotely during my stay. There was also plenty of paid public parking available near the hotel, which was convenient. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Colorado State Capitol or staying in downtown Denver. I would definitely stay here again.
