The Baldpate Inn Bed & Breakfast

I had been to the Key Room here before with family and wanted to share this really fascinating place with my friends. I was surprised to see that the room had been converted into a bar/dining area. There were still the keys on the ceiling and a few display cases, but it definitely was not the same - and we felt like intruders going in just to see the keys. It certainly has lost some of the awe that I felt on previous trips.

Found this very much by chance and so glad we did. We visited for lunch on the tavern and had a wonderful experience. Food and service were exceptional. The atmosphere was very rustic and the views from the deck were stunning.

First time visit under new ownership. It was fantastic! Delicious brunch, beautiful presentation, excellent service. Views are phenomenal. Smoked prime rib, oysters on the half, fresh fruit, cinnamon bread served warm. Couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a Sunday morning.
