Frisco Lodge

The room I booked on their website was not the one they put us in upon arrival. It was a room on the first floor even though I was very careful to book a second floor room. Someone was occupying the room I had booked so they moved us to a nicer room on the second floor which we appreciated. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was mostly clean with a couple of exceptions: the glass table had obviously not been wiped down after the previous guests, the window tracks were very dirty and worst of all the fan blades were coated with grime, lint, gray fuzzy stuff. No way was I going to blow that all over the room. Fortunately it was not a hot day. We enjoyed the shared “veranda” with nice little tables and chairs. The happy hour fare was very simple but a nice gesture. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. It seemed very clean The breakfast appeared to have been made first thing in the morning and we didn’t eat until 9:00. The waffles were cold and hard and everything else was cold and limp. So if you want it fresh I guess you have to show up at 7:30. Over all we enjoyed the stay and will consider staying there again since there aren’t many good choices in the heart of Frisco.

Such a unique experience. Old style lodge stay with shared bathrooms. The afternoon wine and appetisers were a real treat and the breakfast consisted of thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms and shared bathroom immaculately clean and cozy. The position on the Main Street of Frisco meant we could enjoy exploring the shops and easily dine out at any of the restaurants.

Wonderful staff, very clean and lovely room. Hotel is in a perfect location. Park your car and walk or bike to beautiful trails. Overall a great experience. We highly recommend staying at The Lodge!
