We would give it a less than one if possible. We are writing to express our extreme disappointment with our stay at your hotel on June 10, 2026. Overall, our room was in poor condition and was not clean. More importantly, we discovered two serious life-safety issues that should never be overlooked: There was no smoke alarm installed in the room (see attached photo). The secondary security lock on the door was broken (see attached photo). These issues raise serious concerns about the safety of your guests. At a minimum, rooms should be routinely inspected to ensure they are clean, properly maintained, and that all safety equipment and security features are in working order before guests check in. We strongly encourage property management to implement regular room inspections, if not daily, to verify that rooms meet basic cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards. Guests should be able to expect a safe and comfortable environment during their stay. Based on our experience at this Econo Lodge, we are left with very little confidence in your brand and may never choose to stay at another Econo Lodge property. We hope you will take these concerns seriously and address them promptly to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

Much to say starting with the lobby smelling like cat pee. Only cereal and waffles for breakfast but no milk for the cereal. The front desk was unattended most of the time. The room coffee maker was broken. Room and beds were fine. I’d avoid it.

I don’t recommend this hotel and I’m not a negative person. I can usually find good in everything but with this hotel I really couldn’t find much good. The room was clean but small and old. The pool was out of order,not that we had wanted to use it. Ice machine was out of order. Breakfast was… you could make a waffle, there were a few muffins that were pre packaged, coffee was like coloured water. And trains go by often and they are loud and they run right across the street from the hotel.
