Quality Inn (Milford)

We booked a suite, but it still felt cramped. The furniture was stained up, but I just threw a blanket over it and sat down, and went almost to the floor. The shower flooded the bathroom the first time I used it. I stopped by the front desk and asked if they knew that was happening, and the woman got all snippy with me, saying that if they knew about it, they would take care of it. Judging by the water damage on the bathroom door, I think it’s a common occurrence. The person working the breakfast area did a great job keeping everything stocked. They don’t have the cool coffee machine that grinds the beans, but the coffee was still good. I thought about requesting a different room, but it might have been even worse, so I made the best of it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I live in town and wanted to come here to swim in the pool for a day “staycation” with my son in their advertised indoor pool. The pool was DISGUSTING. See the photos of dirt at the bottom of the pool and garbage everywhere, including unknown white creamy gook all over the pool grounds. Asked front desk if there was any way to warm up the pool, as it was FREEZING. Not cold, unusuable freezing. The front desk was rude and unhelpful. I am flabbergasted that they can even pass health inspections.

I had to cancel my reservation. I called the evening before. I never got to speak to a human being - a "virtual assistant" kept transferring me back to the same recording. When I tried again the next morning, I did reach a person - who seemed to be reading off a script and did not seem to understand my request. It may be an o.k. place to stay, but I would not book a room there again.
