HOLIDAY INN SELECT WILMINGTON

Not good. Would not recommend. Stayed years ago when under different management, oh how changed it is now but not for the better. Lift was out for 2 days and staff elevator was not nice plus we were in their way. Room needs lots of improvements, you have to physically ask at the desk to get your room cleaned. Rooms not consistent, tea bags in room but no tea making kettle.We booked 3 rooms, one had 1 bin the others had 2 each. 1 had clock but not all. When asking at desk about elevator being out of action were told oh probably in the next couple of days. Air conditioner very noisy. People,guests not respecting quiet times. Very noisy at random times.

Worst hotel ever. Carpet was disgusting, room reeked of cat urine and there was visible "hair/fur on the bedspread, dirty toilet, broken elevators thus leaving guests using stairs or service elevator. I wouldn't even use the water from the sink to brush my teeth. I want to burn my clothes when I get home.

There is almost nothing to recommend this hotel. It took ages to check us in. The room was decent and clean but the curtains were falling off the rod and the AC was extremely loud. The keycard had to be replaced twice in two days. Only one elevator was working. The AC was not working at all in the lobby and meeting rooms. A friend had to change rooms because of a nonfunctional toilet, and newly arrived guests were given keys To her new room. The restaurant and bar don’t open until six, and two days a week they aren’t open at all. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.
