Hampton Inn Amelia Island

From the first moment we entered the lobby we knew this was the right place for us—its lobby is bright and inviting, the front desk clerk was efficient and professional, we were welcomed as Marriott Bonvoy members. The rates were excellent at under 200 for a studio suite. This hotel has been refurbished and is in fantastic shape! Our studio was perfect for two adults: king bed, efficiency kitchen, cute table for two, lovely new l-shaped sofa, large TV that swiveled to be viewed from the bed or the sofa, and a spacious work desk facing the window which overlooked the pool and parking. And plenty of bright lighting! You could easily stay here a week or longer. Outside there were several large grills, a casual area for sitting and enjoying the Florida outdoors and a fire pit that was lit even in August. In the lobby area there is a small but well stocked pantry with everything from frozen dinners to candy bars, wine, sodas, and sundries. Breakfast is included every morning from 6:30 AM. The beach is a few short blocks away along with beachfront restaurants. We highly recommend this lovely Marriott product.

The desk clerks were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Each day, an outstanding hot breakfast, which was included in the cost, was available in the lobby. They offered a great variety of foods for all paletes. The room was well maintained with good lighting and enough electrical outlets to accomodate phones and chargers. The pool and patio area was a great place to lounge around outside!!!! We enjoyed it, and will definitely stay there again.

We went with friends to Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. What a charming little place! Great restaurants...of every kind. Food was amazing. If you love local shops, this is the place. So unique and easy shopping experience. Blocks and blocks of different shops. We stayed 5 days, but will go back as we didn't get to do everything we wanted.
