Belleview Biltmore Resort, Golf Club and Spa

A must stay hotel with very friendly staff and a beautiful historic property. Located in a great area with access to the country club.

We had a 2 night stay at this beautiful inn. Huge top floor room with views over the golf course. 2 beds . Quality bed linens. Great bathroom. A decent coffee machine. They also delivered a small continental breakfast in a basket each morning. Very grand reception area. Also a bar and a small market. We enjoyed the pool .Staff were great especially Mario. Very professional.

The Inn is part of the Opal Collection, which is a quite high level group of properties. We have stayed at others of their properties and really enjoyed them. However, the Belleview was not up to the Opal standard. The Inn is in a lovely location, and the rooms look very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. However, housekeeping was truly terrible. We asked several times for more housekeeping but didn’t see improvement. We asked to speak to the General Manager but were never contacted. I have given it several days to give management a chance to respond, but they have not. In short, housekeeping seems to make the bed but do nothing else. Surfaces like nightstands and bathroom counters were left sticky and dirty. Pillows on the couch were not even repositioned. We got turndown service one night but never again. I am attaching photos of the very poor cleaning. When I showed these to the front desk staff member, Kelly, she said she was “shocked” and remarked “that’s disgusting.” After we pressed twice, the Inn refunded our $25/night resort fee. Overall, a nice property that could be a standout but for the lack of attention to housekeeping.
