Our stay was great, friendly knowledgeable staff and clean room. Russ was extremely pleasant and helpful during the check-in process. Overall great experience.

I stayed here with my 15 year old son from 6/20-6/23. We are local to the area and did a little staycation because my son’s best friend and family were visiting from out of state and were staying here also. The good: The rooms are spacious, ours was a 2 level room with 1200 sq ft. Upstairs was a bathroom and bedroom that was more of a loft open to downstairs. The bathroom was clean and so was the kitchen. The room had a large comfortable sectional with a pull out bed. The balcony overlooking the intercoastal was also a nice feature, but is in disrepair with loose boards and rusty nails. The bad: There is no bathroom downstairs, so that was a bit of an inconvenience, but not a big deal. The bedroom had a gigantic walk-in closet, but had a total of 2 hangers. Every area of this room showed a lack of maintenance from the stains on the carpet, drapes falling apart, all of the cabinets and furniture were scratched and scuffed. None of this would have changed my decision to stay here due to the convenient location and spacious rooms. The ugly: Every door lock in the room was damaged. The front door barely locked from the outside and had at least a half inch gap at the bottom of the door. Easy entry for palmetto bugs. The sliding door did not lock at all. It had burglar bars but those barely held in place unless you opened the door a crack. A little jiggling and they would fall. I reported this to the front desk when I was asked about my stay. There was also mold on the wall near the ceiling. My friends arrived on Saturday night around 7pm only to be told that their room wasn’t ready. They had booked months ago with a 4pm check in. Then on Sunday, they were called and told that power and water had to be cut on the section of rooms where they were staying. So after having to wait until 8pm to check in Saturday they were forced to move rooms at 3pm on Sunday. On Sunday evening we were heading to dinner and saw that someone had vomited on the stairs right by the restaurant. We told 2 different people and finally someone put a yellow wet floor sign over the vomit. Monday morning the sign and the vomit were still there. This place has great potential and a great location, but it is in terrible disrepair and is really unsafe.

Been going to this hotel for over 15 years. What began as disappointment over Booking.com not placing me in a water view, as requested, was replaced with complete satisfaction the next morning. I had a small worm and his buddy a termite crawling on my arm my first night. Next morning I went down to front desk and explained that I was from Florida and familiar with bugs, but not crawling on me in my motel room while in bed. Gentleman at desk, Russ Griggs, listened to my complaint and found me a water side room I could move into that morning! What a wonderful representative for this hotel. No issues with the new room. Several employees enhanced my stay. Tina, bartender at outside bar was fun and handled the heavy load of guests with ease. Another treasure was Lisa S. In restaurant for breakfast each morning! This guarantees my return to this hotel. Erica at the front desk also has an infectious personality.
