We just returned from an overnight stay - what a wonderful hotel! We don't do much traveling, but when we do it is with our pups and Beachside was accommodating at a price much less than the "big" chains. The room was clean. We enjoyed sitting out our patio and watch the crowds on the beach and the waves crashing to the shore. The breakfast had a lot of variety - no complaints here! If we have a need to stay in that area of Florida again, we would go out of our way to book a room at Beachside!

This is the second time we have booked for jeep Beach. Staff is amazing. Once we see we can book for next year we will.

Great place to stay as long as you're not black or anything thats not white .. I booked the family room and upon arrival they wanted us to down grade for a family with less people .. i didnt pay that any mind since they still honor us the family room we paid for .. The real racism came in when i was woken up by loud banging out my sleep one minute before check out by hotel manager Jennifer Leigh Marple with the Daytona beach Shores Dept of public safety ( Police).. I was informed that the hotel have a strict check out by 11:00 am policy by Ms Marple .. They gave us a 20 min grace period to get out while the office keep is foot in the door and his eye on us while we get dressed and pack ( Have body camera footage ).. While leaving our room being escorted by the police to get on elevator I notice the guest across the hall leaving at the same time and i asked " Sir did the manager and the police came banging on your door and asked you and your family to leave with force " He said no .. long story short i was served with a trespassing order for a late check out .. I dont recommend this place for any one of color .. Yes i said color cause that was the only thing missing.. It feel like the 1950's .. No blacks in the pool or a color only water fountain
