Super 8 Oceanfront

This place is a dump! Our room was filthy (hairball dragging under the bathroom door, I don’t think the area behind the toilet had ever been cleaned, mattress was covered with a plastic cover, hairs everywhere that weren’t ours, housekeeping didn’t visit once over a period of 5 days, water in bathtub was coming out of faucet yellow/brown). Disgusting! Don’t waste your money on this place thinking it might actually look like the advertised pictures. Lies all lies! Headed home to get a penicillin shot for the likely upcoming staph infection from this place!

A great location not far from the pier and a 15 minute drive to the race track. The facilities are clean and the pool area was well maintained. Sadly breakfast was a disappointment with no fresh fruit, bread etc, just a range of packed processed product, waffles, cereal etc. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed here with my husband for the weekend. Very affordable and extremely clean. I didn’t see one bug or ant. Beds are extremely comfortable. The hot water in the shower is extremely hot with good pressure. All rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Our tv wasn’t working and within minutes staff came in with a brand new one. The pool is extremely clean with many lounge chairs. Our room had a private balcony overlooking the ocean. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. The breakfast is great. A lot of choices. Plenty of parking. 5 minute walk to the infamous boardwalk that has bars, restaurants, game room, stores and rides. Also a 5 minute walk to the 24 hour 7-11. I highly recommend Sandals Inn and we will not stay anywhere else but here next time we’re in Daytona. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
