Im going to start this review off with this is a very nice little B & B that my wife and I have stayed at in the past and we loved it. But we will never be staying at this location again after what they pulled. I book a stay on March 02 2016 checking in on July 01 and out on July 03 on there website. The day I book the stay I called and confirmed that they would except my VA disability card for a military discount and they said yes. I received a call at 830 pm on June 30 stating that they did not have a room that they gave it to someone else so I need to find another place to stay.

This has become my hubby's and I's go-to place for anniversaries and other getaways. We have been twice and we love Joe and his mom, Joan. The atmosphere is so relaxed, you don't even feel like you're in Daytona Beach anymore. We will go back again and again.

I paid online for the room with the biggest jacuzzi, but when I arrived we were shown into a different room. After 15 minutes of confusion me & my partner figured out that we were being told to stay in a much cheaper room! Once we figured this out, we were told that the room I had paid for was not ready, and to come back in an hour. Fine. We went to Publix and got some snacks. We come back at which point I am told that my online payment (for which I was emailed a receipt!) was not actually charged to my credit card and could I please give them my card so they can run it in their office downstairs. This would be fine if it weren't for the fact that their office machine wasn't working, we tried 3 different cards over the next 24 hours (which involved 6 or 7 different trips downstairs or visits from the staff to our room asking for our credit card to try to run it again). It was extremely bothersome, and we ended up leaving them with our card information because they still hadn't managed to get it to work by the time we checked out the next day. And here was the WORST part of our entire visit: now we are finally in the right room, tired from our road trip and just want to relax. We pull down the bedcover, sit back onto the sheets, then my partner looks at me and asks, "Do these sheets feel wet to you?" I was thinking the same thing. The sheets were extremely damp, even downright wet in some spots. My partner assumed the sheets just hadn't dried all the way since they were probably washed in a hurry. My partner wanted to be helpful, he pulled all the sheets off the bed and brought them downstairs asking if they could be put back in the dryer. He was told that the sheets had been sprayed down with water after making the bed so that there wouldn't be any wrinkles, and "Don't worry, they'll be dry by the time you're ready to go to sleep at night". He was shocked because he was standing there with the sheets in his arms! He put his foot down though, and firmly asked to have the sheets dried. To which the staff replied "Ok, but then they'll be wrinkled..." After drying the sheets, me and my partner remade the bed and it was during this time that I realized the fitted sheet had a foot-long rip in one corner and a giant brown stain in the middle! Charming. However by now we were too exhausted to care, and all we wanted was to have a dry place to rest. And believe what the other reviews have to say about breakfast, nothing is hot or crispy or fresh, all prepared-last-night-microwave-it-yourself. Aside from all of that, I want to be honest that the decor/furnishings in the room were quite nice, and the jacuzzi was great, but nowhere NEAR enough to make up for all of the hassle we had to go through. At least we had only booked one night. We were extremely relieved to get out of there the next day.
