Capri By The Gulf

We visited thinking we would be right in the middle of Hurricane Laura. We just got the outer bands of Laura and very big waves. This condo was clean and neat. It had everything we needed. We stayed in #106 which had a wonderful view of the beach. Only 1 maintenance issue with the stopper in the sink of the bathroom. It was addressed that same day which was nice. The kitchen was stocked well except there were not pot holders to be found. Maybe the owner might consider purchasing a couple. I ended up using the hand towel which was no big deal. Beach service (chairs and umbrella) is included in the cost. A couple of restaurants within walking distance of the condo. It was a quiet, relaxing place to stay on our first visit to Destin. Will definitely stay here again!

Much rather stay here than on the 20th floor of some over priced or over crowded condo. Small old motel converted into ground level condo rentals. Some are privately owned. The owners are nice and neighborly. Room comes with two parking spots and outdoor seating. Community deck in the center overlooking the beach and it’s literally on the beach. No walking long distance from door to sand. One of our favorite places we have stayed due to location. Gated community. 2 chairs and umbrellas provided. Our room was great, clean, and comfy. Absolutely no complaints. Would recommend!!

This is a great place to stay. We were in Destin for a few days without reservations and came upon this 1 level condo. The people in the office were great and very accomodating and found us a room at the last minute and in just a few minutes we were checked in and enjoying the beach . We stayed in room 110 and it was about a 400 sf 2 room condo and looked like it had been remodeled recently. It had everything that we needed sofa (maybe a sleeper), loveseat, dining table, complete kitchen, 2 queen beds in the bed room plus all the linens. Rooms were quiet and TV in bedroom and living room. You are able to drive right up to the front door and there were 2 parking spaces. The property has a community patio over looking the gulf, spend the morning and evening looking out. Each condo has umbrella and 2 chair service on the beach that are setup for your use at no additional cost. It was easy getting to and from the beach. You can walk to several restaurants along the beach, and Publix is only about 3 miles away. We will be staying here again, perfect and cozy place to stay.
