Resort Quest Rentals at Ariel Dunes Condominiums

Our family stayed here for a week during our family vacation. I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this location! Would absolutely stay here again when we’re in the area!

I had booked this property as we were attending a show at the venue on site. The website did not give great information and was very limited. I spoke with a young women in the office who shared the highlights of the property including a pool, fitness center, brand new construction, and close proximity to the venue. As the date got closer I called to verify what I had been told as the website had not been updated and I wanted to be sure what I was told would be available was true. I got another young women on the phone who shared that the units I was being placed in were still under construction. The pool was not functional and there was no fitness facility. I was told additional pools on the property were available (none of which were like the one pictured and frankly were very small and cold). The manager blamed ICE as the reason the construction team was not showing up to work and for the delay. This should have been my red flag however I decided to continue with the stay as it was too last minute to find anything else. Upon arrival we were told our unit would be ready. When we arrived we had a hard time finding the office. The lady working in the office kept pushing our check in time. After 3 hours we received the key. We were told the first unit we were going in was being painted and had to go in another unit. Fine. We were given the key to the new unit. Upon arrival the elevated was not working. We walked up 4 flights of stairs and there were children in the unit. The cleaning team was still working and the kids were helping? We called the manager who could not be less apologetic. Continuing to give excuses. At no point offering to help or really give any assistance. We continued to check in as again we did not have anywhere else to go. As we unpacked more cleaning crew entered our unit without knocking. We payed nearly 1400 dollar for 4 nights in unit that was covered dust with none of the initially promised amenities. Upon checking out we followed all the rules. We landed at home and I had a missed call and email from the property saying we would be charged for not returning the keys. Even after the lady at check in said we could leave them in the unit since we would be leaving before the office was open to return them, which is what we did. The ladies on the phone were rude, condescending and dismissive with any complaints or questions throughout the stay. They would openly criticize me without realizing they did not put the phone on hold. I am always more than understanding but this was hands down the WORST treatment I have even had in customer service. They knew we were stuck and continually treated us poorly. This is only a part of the issues we encountered at this property. Do not rent at the Grove at Seascape or frankly give them your business. You will be sorely disappointed and taken advantage of.

We always enjoy staying at Ariel Dunes, but unfortunately this year we were disappointed with the accommodations. While the unit itself was nice, it did not appear to have been properly cleaned. • We found hair in the kitchen, bathroom sinks, and on the bathroom floors. • The bedroom carpets were not vacuumed, very dirty, and had visible stains. • The bed sheets in the primary bedroom had visible stains on the side, as if something had been spilled. • An extra blanket in the closet was covered in stains, which we had to wash before using. Beyond cleanliness, several furnishings and amenities need attention. The living room sofa is old and worn, and the recliner is broken. The living room television also had odd settings—while watching a football game, the commentary played in Spanish while player stats appeared in English, even though the same game on the bedroom TV was only in English. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was very low, and the toilet in the primary bathroom required holding down the handle to flush properly. Overall, while we enjoyed our time at the beach, the unit’s condition and lack of cleanliness made our stay less than desirable. Unfortunately, we would not rent this particular unit again.
