ResortQuest at The Beach House Condominiums

The location is fantastic, the price is great, and this place honestly has 4.7-star potential. HOWEVER, whoever runs the parking situation is of low intelligence. They proudly advertise that the units sleep anywhere from 6-8 ppl, which is awesome, assuming your entire party plans on piling into a church van. If you dare to bring a second vehicle, prepare to play Russian roulette with their dumb tow warnings. The parking lot guards comb through the stalls like vultures looking for missing passes. Naturally, I walked into the front office to simply buy an extra pass. I was treated like an absolute dummy for daring to ask such an absurd, unthinkable question. Here is the kicker: The parking lot was barely 60% full the entire time, but god forbid you try to utilize it. Again, great location but be prepared to only take one vehicle or worry about your second vehicle being in a random lot somewhere else. I’m never going here again.

We had a great week here. The condo was so clean and well stocked. The location was great. The views are breathtaking. There is security on sight. The pool was amazing. The beach service is definitely a plus. Oscar (beach service) went above and beyond to help us with a beach wheelchair. We texted several questions to the office and each time, their response was immediate. Definitely planning on returning!

Go elsewhere. For over $4,300 for six days I expected much better. The view was great, but...... 1. The living room furniture was disgusting. See photos 2. They don't want you sleeping under the comforter and provide a blanket. It was nasty. See photos. 3. The back sliding door may as well have been Ft. Knox because it doesn't open or close without super strength. 4. The laundry closet had a nice hole in the wall with exposed wiring. See photos 5. For 4 adults they provide 2 beach chairs on their section of the beach. For more than 2 chairs you will pay an extra $45 a day and if you don't reserve them, you won't have chairs. 6. The security officer reprimanded us for having two separate vehicles because, according to her, only one vehicle per rental is allowed. Which is pretty hard when you're coming to meet your child from a different location. 7. There was a hole in the tile beside the bed in the master bedroom. Great to step on barefooted first thing in the morning. 8. The laundry closet door is broken and off track and you have to fight it to close it so the toddlers don't get to the exposed wires. 9. There are two holes/cracks in the master bath ceiling just above a detachable shower wand that falls off and smacks you in the face while using it. We just expected so much more for the price we paid. And we'll go back to our usual spot in San Destin next year. If you're making nearly $5k a week, can't you at least make it look clean?
