Blue Heron Inn

My wife and I stayed here for a few days back in August had an absolutely wonderful time here! This place is now our go to when we want a getaway on the island. Simply a wonderful place. Clean, quiet, cozy and oh so charming. Staff here is on another level. I cannot say enough nice things about The Blue Heron. You simply have to experience it for yourself.

Great place to stay. Rooms were a step-back in time. Very clean, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated. The pool area was quaint, sunny and the perimeter was surrounded by trees making it very private. After dinner we enjoyed a glass of wine relaxing in the rocking chairs on the porch our last night on the island. There are so many restaurants offering happy hour, great food, and music within walking distance. Check in and out was streamline. And lastly the host was fantastic; friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! Would definitely recommend this place and looking forward to our next trip to Fernandina Beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Heron. The host, Christina, was a delight and prepared wonderful breakfasts. The accommodations were near perfect. The Blue Heron is located in easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Fernandina. Our only glitch was the tv service is only Roku tv unless you have your password information for other streaming services.
