Courtyard Ft Lauderdale Miramar

Love the Courtyard Marriott in Miramar. This was actually my 2nd time staying there this year. I was very impressed the 1st time, so I booked there again and will definitely book there in the future. Amazing staff.

The hotel itself is nice and has been remodeled a few years ago, so it still looks and feels very fresh. The rooms are quiet and well laid out. I have stayed here before, and the beds are really good, allowing for a good night's sleep. The bedding was replaced when they remodeled, and everything is very well kept. The service for Bonvoy members is not very good. I was not acknowledged upon arrival, no upgrade, no bottled water, and no perks, really. The agent at check-in just didn't care. It was about 11 PM when I got there, and I guess they just didn't want to be bothered. I had requested and was granted a late check out. The next morning, housekeeping was banging on my door despite the DND being on there—no training, no class, no respect for the guest's sleep.

Checking was smooth and enjoyable. Elevators worked! Room was comfy & clean. Plenty of plugins for the tech. Could use a few more plugins closer to the table? Food was tasty & the drinks were cold! Good service, Good staff! Plenty of parking. The Market was stocked pretty well. Back in the area I WILL return! Thanks for a good stay!
