Holiday Inn Exp & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Air. West

We came in on Friday May 29th and our room was not ready, 3 hours after check in time we were then given a DIRTY ROOM, we had to return to the front desk where another Room key was given..On Monday We came back to our Room and was greeted by roaches, we then went down to speak to someone (The Manager’s Son) who then contacted his Father the Manager (The phone said DAD) Ahmed Chowdhury who was VERY RUDE and verbally abusive to us which we have on tape, he also threatened to put us out TONIGHT on my BIRTHDAY if we don’t move to a new room and forget about compensation or even speaking to him personally. It’s not our first time at the Holiday Inn but it’s our very first time at Davie, We have NEVER encountered such mistreatment and we’re MEMBERS!!! This is unbelievable!

We overnighted here on our way to the Keys. It's close to the airport. Has a Waffle House and Wawa next door. Dunkin Donuts down the street. The rooms are renovated. We had a King suite and a 2 queen room. The beds were high but amazing to sleep on. Plenty of space in each room to spread out plus a kitchenette with keurig sink and mini fridge. The king suite has a larger fridge but not full-size. The staff was pleasant and breakfast was hot. Overall would highly recommend this location.

Flight delayed three times; missed connector and next flight tomorrow. Booked room with IHG points and shuttle driver (Stanley) came out of the mist. Check in smooth, room clean and Wawa gas station dinner was delicious? Offered tip to Muhammed and Robbins but they requested a review instead. Gladly obliged; very grateful for strangers in the night who've become fast friends.
