HAMPTON INN - SUITES FORT MYER

A very nice over-night experience- we were driving back from Miami and wanted to break up the drive. Would stay here again. Clean, good coffee and nice people at the front desk.

Dalton Bruno was gracious helping me extend my stay using the group pricing They made the transition seamless The staff was extremely friendly and helpful Among then Alexus stood out as an employee with a can do make it happen attitude No matter what the task was, she got it done

I was SO disappointed upon arrival after a tiring first day orientation at FGCU. Upon entering the main lobby at the Hampton inn Estero, a strong whiff of perfume or incense greeted me, and made me want to vomit at the same time. It was obvious that the scent was meant to cover up an old, moldy, dog friendly “motel”. The name of the Hampton Inn Estero should be “The Dog Motel”. As I came off the elevator , I found the door to my guest room ajar, the floor dirty (not vacuumed) and it smelled like mold. I proceeded to go to the front desk and stated that I would like another room. The SECOND room I was given smelled like DOG and the bed and pillows were damp & wet. I’m not joking. I am also not a hotel snob - but at this point I got on my iPhone and called the Embassy Suites across the street to see if they had availability and they did! Great experience by the way. Anywho - I went back down to the front desk at the Hampton Inn Estero and asked for a full refund and said I could not stay given the conditions of the rooms. A full refund was provided. The Hilton Embassy Suites across the street was OUTSTANDING and I highly recommend. Smelled clean in the lobby and the rooms were clean, cool, quiet, no mold or dog smells. Cheers to your next stay at the Embassy Suites Estero when you are in town. Trust me- run away from the Hampton Inn in Estero! I will be staying at the Embassy Suites Estero the next four years our daughter is at FGCU. It will be our choice home away from home. Cheers!
