Coral Cay Resort

First day we arrived, house was hot when we walked in. Looked around, no pots and pans, not enough silverware for party of 7. No patio furniture. No lights on patio. Furniture inside home was old and damaged. The fridge drawer were falling apart. Fixtures in bathrooms were old, one of the tubs wouldn't drain. Worst place I ever rented from.

To be exactly the property was in 2452 Caravelle Circle Orlando (FL) Florida United States 34746 . This was promoted like an excellent alternative. I received a lot of specific instructions about it the garbage bags, air conditioner and also offer to be able to used the pool area but it didn’t leave the key to enter. But we arrive there was garbage bags with worms in front of the property. The air conditioner only cools at night. At day it was so hot inside the house. Most of the furniture has scratches. The bed sheets in some of the rooms were dirty and the bathrooms floors too. Also they didn’t send the checking information until I have give my credit card information again for the security deposit , I was ok with this but for my surprise I was charge again for the whole reservation. After I writing from June 16 when I saw the double charge they refunded it on June 24. I was very stressful situation so I never going to used again and not recommend to anyone.

We stayed in Coral Cay "Resort" in February 2020. First, the term resort is used very loosely. It's a serious of townhouses with a community pool. While the unit we stayed in was fine, there were some simple maintenance issues that need to be addressed by the owner. All were easy fixes that would take a couple hours to complete all of them. So it gave the feeling that the unit was slightly neglected by the owner/property manager. But, such is the gamble you take when renting a vacation home. If you are looking at Coral Cay to stay, please know that there is a 3 car parking limit per unit. and ZERO visitor parking overnight, ZERO street parking ever. In fact, the "resort" has a contract with a towing company and they make the rounds. My brother in law is wheel chair bound and the vehicle has a ramp and there is only one handicap parking spot for the entire "resort"and it is in front of the Club house, which does not allow overnight parking. But the HC parking spot did not say no overnight parking. Since it was the only HC space, my sister in law parked there the first night and received a warning sticker just like all the other cars in front of the club house that was clearly marked no overnight parking. They have both the placard hanging on the rear view mirror and the symbol on their license plate. SO if you are looking for a family get together at Orlando, might want to make it a very small gathering. Our daughter drove over from Gainesville to visit for the day and we had to park her car in Walmart down the street and come get her/drop her off because there are never any spots. Also there is a nice big pond in the middle that the units back up to with signs saying do not to feed the alligators and we saw them in the water. SO it you have small children, uh...make sure you don't let them close to the water.
