HAMPTON INN - SUITES LAKELAND-

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites for one night with my cross-country team during the regional championships. The staff at the hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences. The waffles were particularly delicious, and the orange juice was refreshing and flavorful. For our room, I was with Jackson, Ethan and Jake and we were in room 507 which was a two queen guest room on the fifth floor and the room was very nice but the rest of the team had a king size bedroom and then three other team members had a studio suite with two queen beds so overall, it was a wonderful experience in all of those rooms The rooms appeared to have undergone a recent makeover, which was evident in their modern and comfortable design. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep. The bathrooms were in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained, with no issues or complaints from any of us. Overall, I believe this hotel is an ideal choice for visitors looking to explore Lakeland or for athletic teams attending regional events. It perfectly suits our needs and expectations. A heartfelt thank you to the Hampton Inn and Suites team for their outstanding service and hospitality, which greatly enhanced the experience for me and my teammates during our cross-country regionals. We are certain to return in the future.

Room AC has no constant-fan option. Air gets stagnant. YOU HEAR EVERY NOISE. Barely any water comes out of the shower head. Terrible.

Walked in the room and the carpet was soaking wet. I turned down the bed and there were dark yellow stains at the top of the bed sheet the AC rattled, vibrated and was so noisy. The toilet kept running, I called the front desk multiple times no answer I went down and the manager was outside smoking with a group of people and socializing either staying at the hotel or coming from the bar across the street there was no maintenance and I ended up putting a towel over the nasty stain, closing the bathroom door so we didn’t hear the toilet running and unfortunately there was nothing we could do about the AC, we even turned the AC completely off and it still made a loud noise all night as if it were still running. Over all, it was unclean, very uncomfortable, not pleasant, enjoyable or relaxing and the staff and customer service sucked. Also the maids kept knocking on the door even after having a do not disturb sign on the door and it wasn’t even close to check out time
