Days Inn-madison

When we first went into our room and turned on the light, there was a roach on the nightstand. The rooms smelled. We had a late check-in, so had no time to go to another hotel. There was no toilet paper or Kleenex in our room, I had to walk over to the front desk to get these and the employee and another woman were sitting in chairs in front of the first guest room just outside of the lobby area smoking. I am allergic to smoke and it wasn’t pleasant having to walk past them to go into the lobby. The bedding and towels seemed clean, but the overall feel of the room was very rundown and it was hard to tell how clean the room really was. I opted not to shower before leaving in the morning. When checking in I was told the only thing for breakfast would be bagels. I have to be in the area again in a couple of weeks and will be staying at a nicer hotel in Valdosta an hour north for about the same price.

short stay in a busy area. Staff was good room was clean. Easy check in and check out. Repeat stay at this location. Issue free weekend.

Days INN, Madison FL wasn't my first choice of a hotel so i had to stay there, if I were to choose i would have done the best western but they were all sold out of rooms (shocker), the walls here i feel like have no insulation i could literally hear my next-door neighbor breathing dude. anyway, no breakfast or gym, bathroom was really musty the only somewhat okay thing was the bed being comfortable, but the sheets had a stain on them, DO better days inn!!
