Apollo Beach Resort

We visited for a late fall getaway during the last week of October. Erin at the front desk was an absolute gem—she greeted us warmly and took the time to clearly explain the somewhat complicated key and gate procedures. Thanks to her guidance, we had no issues at all. She also offered excellent recommendations for dining and shopping in the area. Erin is truly the highlight of this condo complex. Our room was compact but adequate for two people; accommodating more would have felt quite cramped. The televisions were very small, and the Roku system (which we’re familiar with at home) only worked intermittently during our stay. Since we didn’t plan to cook, the sparsely equipped kitchen wasn’t an issue for us. The outdoor furniture was crowded into a small space, and it felt creaky and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the noise from the air conditioning unit, which was located directly above our bedroom. It cycled on and off throughout the night, making restful sleep difficult. By the second night, I resorted to using an oscillating fan to help mask the sound. While the view was spectacular and certainly lived up to its “million-dollar” reputation, the room itself did not quite meet expectations for the price point. I would consider staying at this complex again—but next time, I’d choose to avoid Unit 1002.

We had a great time staying in Marco Island. The complex was safe, quiet, and clean. Three out of the four women who were covering the front desk were friendly and helpful. The one that was not, along with the woman who sat in that office, gave off mean girl vibes. They never greeted us when they saw us. Except one time, we entered the door with a key, which you need to get in, dressed in beach gear, and were still asked if we were guests. It's probably because we did not look like them. We're poc. Those two seemed to dislike their jobs and should consider doing something else. That energy will return to them. Other than that, Marco Island was a beautiful place!

This was our first trip to Marco Island and was very impressed. We were very happy with the condo complex. The units have excellent ocean views!! The pool was very nice, large and clean and the grounds were well kept. You do have to use a key to get in building, elevator and pool area but it is nice that they have security. Looking forward to returning!
