Doubletree Guest Suites Melbourne Beach

This hotel is very nice: clean, great location, great rooms with a great view and very nice employees. Food is a bit pricey and their coffee has a lot to be desired, even though they just started a new brand trying to improve on it; my recommendation in this day and age is to get a coffee shop in the hotel, as they already have outside customers using their beach area by entering through the hotel.

Hilton owned are always the best. Very comfortable here, plush beds, restaurant, bar, nice pool, on the beach. Ate at the restaurant twice. Clean, fantastic views.

Our stay took place in April 2026, and unfortunately, the experience was unsatisfactory. We encountered cleanliness issues, including bugs present around the sink area. Additionally, my wife contracted ringworm during our stay, which raised serious health concerns. On the third day of our stay, at approximately 6:00 PM, we were unexpectedly disturbed by persistent knocking on our hotel room door by maintenance staff seeking to perform a television modification or upgrade. At the time, a “Do Not Disturb” sign was clearly displayed on our door, and we had not received any prior notification from the front desk regarding this work. We declined entry and contacted the front desk to seek clarification. The front desk staff apologized for the inconvenience and acknowledged that maintenance should not have been conducted that late in the evening. We were also informed that a notification card should have been placed in our room regarding the television upgrade. While we were out at dinner later that evening, maintenance personnel entered our room without our consent and completed the television modification. Upon returning, we discovered that our room had been accessed in our absence. We were fortunate that no personal belongings were missing; however, this incident raised serious concerns regarding guest privacy and security.
