Claridge Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Faena. The hotel has so much character and charm with a relaxed boutique atmosphere, right across from the beach. The food at the downstairs restaurant was outstanding. Our compliments to chef Antonio. We dined there so many times we lost count! The staff were welcoming and friendly and we really enjoyed our overall Miami Beach experience. Shout out to the servers on site Sofi, Casandra (a lovely young lady from the Philippines) and Carlos who looked after us with meal recommendations.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Casa Faena. If you like historic boutique hotels this one fits the bill. We loved the design of the lobby and restaurant, and the location is just across the street from the beach (they have chairs, towels and umbrellas to take to the beach but no beach set up as such like many of the beach hotels). The room was spacious and clean but a bit older/dated in terms of decor and amenities. The walls are pretty thin and we could hear the guests in the room adjacent, not an issue for us as it was during the day, but not great if you're a light sleeper. We dined at the Faena Hotel which is just a 5-minute walk and had a great meal at Las Fuegos, definitely recommend it. Breakfast at Casa Faena is a la carte, good service and nice options, all Latin inspired, but it starts late at 9am. We were surprised that they charge a resort fee but don't have resort facilities like a pool, gym or beach club.

A special place near the sea with very friendly staff In particular, Orlando and Lorena at the reception were very kind and attentive to satisfying any request.
