Our stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, but there were several aspects of the experience that left us feeling that the hotel did not quite meet the standard we have experienced at other properties.
The location is excellent, with convenient access to major tourist attractions and shopping destinations. The restaurant area was clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping staff were professional, knew their jobs well, and executed their responsibilities efficiently.
However, the breakfast selection was a disappointment. We found the offerings quite repetitive, with limited variety and too few attractive, tasty options. Given the importance of breakfast as part of the overall hotel experience, we believe there is considerable room for improvement in this area.
Another disappointment was the lack of acknowledgement of our anniversary. Prior to our arrival, a Customer Service Representative contacted us, and we informed the hotel that we had specifically chosen to celebrate our anniversary there. We therefore expected that this information would be acknowledged in some small way during our stay. After several days, however, we had not received any acknowledgement or gesture to mark the occasion, so we eventually made an enquiry at the front desk.
We were told that the hotel's response to our communication had not indicated that anything would be done for us. While we understand that the hotel was not obligated to provide a complimentary amenity or special gesture, we were disappointed by the lack of personal attention to something we had specifically shared with the hotel before our arrival. Even a simple anniversary greeting or acknowledgement would have made us feel more welcomed and valued.
We have stayed at several other hotels while celebrating milestone occasions, and we have been pleased by the thoughtfulness and acknowledgement extended to us as guests. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
The hotel's ambience is clean and functional, but it lacks the warmth and sense of hospitality that can make a stay feel truly special. For us, hospitality is not only about cleanliness and efficiency; it is also about creating an environment where guests feel welcomed, appreciated, and valued.
Taking the overall experience into consideration, we would rate our stay as average. While we appreciated the excellent location, cleanliness and efficient housekeeping service, the limited breakfast variety and the lack of acknowledgement of our anniversary significantly affected our impression of the hotel.
Having experienced more memorable and thoughtful stays at other properties, we would not choose to stay at this hotel again for future milestone celebrations.

My partner and I stayed here for a couples staycation, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was the early check-in. I had contacted the hotel the night before to request an early check-in. I completely understood that it was not guaranteed, and I even made it clear that I was willing to pay the $35 early check-in fee, which is also listed on the hotel’s website. We arrived around 9 AM, knowing that standard check-in was at 4 PM, and I wasn’t expecting the room to necessarily be ready that early. What I did expect was a little more effort to accommodate the request.
Instead, I was repeatedly told that the room wasn’t ready and that I should just call back to check. The room assigned to us was on the 9th floor, and I was told that housekeeping hadn’t gotten to that floor yet. What was frustrating was seeing guests checking out throughout the morning and knowing there were rooms potentially becoming available, yet there didn’t seem to be any attempt to see if another room on a different floor could be prepared. I checked again around 11 AM, then 1 PM, and again around 3 PM, and each time I was essentially told to call back.
I also asked if we could use the pool while we waited, which was appreciated, but they initially forgot to give me the access key, so I had to go back downstairs to get one. While at the pool, we purchased drinks, and when I later asked the server for two cups of ice, I was automatically told I could only have one cup. When I questioned it, the response was essentially, “Yeah, I’m only giving you one.” That interaction felt unnecessarily rude and left a bad impression.
To be fair, once we actually got into the room, it was nice. It was spacious, clean, and had a little living area, which I really liked. The room itself was probably the best part of the stay. The view wasn’t anything special, but that wasn’t a major issue for us.
Unfortunately, the experience leading up to check-in overshadowed the positives. What made it even more frustrating was seeing housekeeping already cleaning rooms on the 9th floor early the following morning when we were checking out. That made me wonder why there wasn’t more effort made to accommodate us the day before, especially since I had communicated my request in advance and was willing to pay the early check-in fee.
I understand that early check-in is never guaranteed, and I don’t fault the hotel for not having a room available at 9 AM. My frustration is with the lack of communication, flexibility, and effort to find an alternative after we arrived. The repeated back-and-forth made the start of what was supposed to be a relaxing couples staycation unnecessarily stressful.
Unfortunately, because of that experience, I wouldn’t return. The room itself was good, but for me, hospitality and how guests are treated are just as important as the room, and that part of the stay was a major disappointment.

Location only good for shopping! Claustrophobic rooms, long waits for elevator.
