Wishes Hotel Biscayne

Absolutely terrible experience at Up Midtown Hotel. There was a live cockroach in my room (I have photos and video), which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, the TV didn’t work at all and the microwave had to be replaced. Staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. One employee said he would come to the room and never showed. Another (Roberto) dismissed my concerns, refused to properly assist, and made the situation worse. After hours dealing with Expedia, I was told at 1:12 AM that I could only get a refund if I immediately checked out—meaning leaving with my kids in the middle of the night. This place is unsanitary, poorly managed, and does not deliver what it advertises. I would not stay here again.

Good and convenient for the price

Stayed there pre and post cruise. Walls extremely thin. Can hear conversations easily. Must ask for wash cloth. No hand soap supplied. Not overly clean but house keepers doing their best. Desk staff have trouble with English communication. Centrally located to shops restaurants. Close to Port of Miami
