First, we are older- 67 and 74, travel a lot so many airbnbs, VRBOs, Booking. coms, resorts to compare to. This is a very nice location to be right in the heart of SoFi. Steps away from Miami Beach, the 9 mile Ocean Walk, South Point Pier, Lincoln Rd and all the shops and restaurants offering delicious food and drinks. Boulevard Hotel itself… room was clean, basic, dated (rusty hinges on door hinges and frame near floor…. my first thought was I’m glad I keep up to date with a Tetanus shot, windows are thin storm windows allowing outside noise to be heard clearly and when the temps drop a lot more cold is felt plus the garbage truck seems to come every early morning. Busy area means noise, revving cars and motorcycles, people talking, yelling and even screaming at times- I think most was from outside. If next to the alley, more clunking and banging of whatever it is they are doing out there. Nice little set up for coffee, mini microwave, micro toaster, water kettle, dishes etc. Only flat surface is small round table. Plan to live out of suitcase, 5 hangers in the closet that doesn’t have a shelf above and no other shelves or dresser or hooks to put clothes in or items on. No place/shelf to put toiletry bag in bathroom. Glass partition in shower leaks at the bottom so floor does get wet. Carpet in hall to room very dirty and stained. Elevator a little scary, very old and its last inspection done in 2023 expired in 2024. Fortunately we are on 2nd floor and use stairs. An exit door at the end of the hall right next to our room we used thinking it might be the stairwell that went to the roof (chairs, umbrellas). It wasn’t, near top there were boxes, bags and a mattress on the stairs. I’m pretty sure this is against fire and OSHA regulations. The bed is queen, fairly comfortable but has a 3 sided frame which means one person has to crawl around the other to get in/out. Okay for younger folks but us, 60’s and 70’s it’s not ideal. One nightstand, CPAP machine (needed at night for breathing) takes up that flat surface. It’s also in the corner and difficult to reach and only with a stretch from one side of the bed. I pushed the bathroom sink stopper down to fill with some water as that’s where we rinse dishes (dish towel, dish soap provided but no dish cloth)…. plug stays down, is not attached to knob which should open and close it. Needed to use sharp knife to lift (and it obviously had been used before for this by the looks). Water drained but plug won’t stay up. Reported and maintenance can look at this afternoon. Plug was raised but it’s not fixed, still not attached to knob to control its position. We just won’t touch it again. Heating and cooling system (Heat Pump) works great. Chairs, not comfortable at all. We use the extra pillows with shams from the bed to sit on. No view from our room, which is fine, but considering that and above writings I’d have expected to pay about half what I did. I’m sure the location if the reason prices are high. I rated as high as I did because of the location and the room was clean.

117 dollars to drink a pina colada, a sangria with no taste, 2 dishes without flavors. Pass your way

Hello, Watch out for some waiters they're inflating the rating! I complained asking for the person in charge and the waiter told me it was unavailable.I was furious and I did not want to make a scandal.
