The hotel's location is good, the restaurant is good, it was practically empty, and the hotel was clean. The only bad thing was the check-out, as the young lady did not show up and we had to go to the airport.

From the moment we arrived we were treated poorly by the front desk staff. Instead of welcoming us and telling us about the hotel, I was charged unexpected fees. The room had uncomfortable beds and tiny bad pillows. The coffee was also really bad and the room was run down with the carpet peeling up and holes in the walls. The worst was that they were roofing right below our room which made it stink like tar. The view was beautiful and the restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. It's not the hotel's fault, but the beach had stinky seaweed all over it. I would have gone to another hotel, but I had already paid almost $600 per night. I should have listened to the reviews and not booked at this hotel. The staff really needs to learn how to make guests feel like guests instead of wanting to nickel and dime people. Very disappointing stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in Bal Harbour! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Sea View Hotel on Collins Avenue in Bal Harbour. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine kindness, warmth, and professionalism. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The customer service here is truly impeccable. You can tell that this level of hospitality starts with outstanding management and ownership. It is obvious they have created a culture where guests are treated with respect, empathy, and genuine care. If you have a question or need assistance, everyone is eager to help, and they do so with a positive attitude. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. The pool area is absolutely relaxing, with lovely cabanas that make you feel like you’re at your own private retreat. As I’m writing this, I’m sitting in one of the cabanas, listening to the ocean, and I couldn’t be happier. What I love most is that this isn’t one of those massive franchise resorts. It’s a charming beachfront hotel that feels private, peaceful, and intimate. It’s exceptionally well maintained, and the attention to detail shows everywhere you look. We’re spending the Fourth of July weekend here, looking forward to the fireworks tonight, and this has been such a relaxing getaway. The only thing that’s overwhelming is the Florida summer heat—but that’s certainly not the hotel’s fault! Thank you to the entire staff, management, and the owners for creating such a wonderful experience. You made us feel truly valued—like royalty. It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel completely stress-free from the moment you check in. Without hesitation, I give the Sea View Hotel 5 stars. We will absolutely be back!
