This unit, 308 is horrible. If it were possible to leave zero stars I would, but I guess we haven’t seen a roach…yet, so I will give it one star. There is rust everywhere. The gate code they provide to the beach- doesn’t work. Lots of fun to head to the beach only to be locked out of it. The outlets in the living room- don’t work. I guess that could be because some of the outlets are rusted- seems safe. The lights in the bedroom are so dark they are non existent. There are lamps- but shocker to us all they don’t work even when we put new lightbulbs. The cracks and chips in the bathtub were a nice touch, but the icing on the cake would have to be the hair left on the mattresses.

We recently stayed at Windancer Condominiums, #208, at Miramar Beach from May 3-10, 2025. I woke up to find the Lays potato chip bag in the corner of the kitchen floor. The clip was still on it. We moved it and noticed something had eaten through the bottom of the bag. Then we started looking around the Condo. We found a rodent sticky pad by the refrigerator, 2 sticky pads behind the TV console, and 2 rodent boxes behind the sofa. I called the Ocean Reef Office and Tammy said she would send someone out. I asked how they could rent out this unit and not divulge that there was a rodent problem. She made the comment that they had to rent the unit. We would have never stayed there if we knew there were active rodents. Shame on Ocean Reef for renting this unit! Beware, they have to be all over the building!

Wind dancer 111, managed by Real Joy Vacations, My wife and I planned a a couple of nights here on our trip to Texas. It was a last minute decision and booked based on the information provided on the hotels.com site. Once booked we were sent a contract to sign which went into detail all the things they were going to charge you for and what was not allowed. 1. no pets.. we had 2 small dogs. 2. no rvs or trailers, we had a small pull behind. The info on the site mentioned nothing of this. After several emails I was informed they would not offer any kind of refund because it was a last minute booking because of the time it was off the market (24hrs) Real Joy Vacations is a very deceptive company and would highly recommend staying a other properties that will provide the contract with all the policies upfront Better yet just dont book with thses crooks.
