Holiday Inn Express Naples I-75

The property itself is OK but it's not run properly. I had an issue whereby I stayed for four days and not once did housekeeping show up to change sheets or even replace towels. I left the room at 9AM and returned after 7PM and nothing was done. I mentioned the issue at checkout and they said they would talk to housekeeping but really they should have offered either a small credit or perhaps bonus points to the IHG account to make up for the issue. In addition, there was trash in the halls that stayed for days and was never swept up. It really doesn’t inspire a return visit to this location. I have to take numerous trips to this area over the next year and I’ll most certainly be looking to stay somewhere else.

We booked this through a Chase Reserve credit card offer and stayed 1-night for the first and last time in April 2026. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to Fakahatchee Strand, which was about a 20-minute drive. That said, the close proximity did not justify the atmosphere and experience. The room was in disrepair (bathroom door and moldings beat up and in need replacement); the lighting was terrible blue-light; the room reeked of cheap cleaner mixed with puke and mold. Thankfully the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the sheets were clean and smelled fresh (I covered my face with the sheet to mask the smells and to make it through the night). Escaped before sunrise and cockroaches in the elevator bid us farewell. Tear down, rebuild.

We came to this property the fourth time every last year. Service always is outstanding. Check-In was easy and efficient. We were welcomed with as membership status and upgraded. Allocation of room matched my profile (room upper floor and far from elevator). Emma really went above and beyond to accommodate our room requests and ended up assigning us a room that was perfect for us. Thank you so much for your customer acknowledgement! Room was clean and met exactly our expectation. Highlight is the pretty rare possibility to open window by guest. Carolyn of the breakfast staff and her trainee were once more than attentive. She is so friendly to her guests, prepares everything pretty well, has a good look at the buffet and refilles immediately. She also keeps busy cleaning all the tables and items at the buffet. We really appreciate that. Great Location for exploring nature outside of Naples, but otherwise only a short trip to downtown. We will return to this hotel if we will visit the area again.
