My wife and I have been to the hotel a few times over the years, but the changes to the facilities are a nice improvement. The lobby, bar area and pool are very modern and are both encouraging and comfortable. Our room was very nice and clean. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is minutes from Disney Springs and only about 9 miles to City Walk, which includes many diverse restaurants with a few minutes of the hotel. We were especially impressed by the front desk staff, JoJo, Anaya, Teresa and John. They were all extremely pleasant, professional, friendly and helpful. We were also impressed with Jairo, who is one of bartenders and who also displayed the same characteristics as the folks at the front desk. We were also a little disappointed that a specific wine that was listed on the website was not available at the bar. Overall though, we had a nice time, mostly due to the staff and their sincere concern over any minor issues we encountered. We plan to visit again in the near future.

This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel in Orlando. For a so-called "four-star" establishment, the front desk staff lacks even the most basic respect for guests—and is even racist. On our first day, we requested toothbrushes, and the front desk promised to provide them. However, when we returned on the third evening and asked if they could send two toothbrushes up to our room, we were cut off before we could even finish speaking by an elderly woman at the front desk. She then yelled at us, declaring that she had already given away the last of the day's toothbrushes to someone else. We were baffled: couldn't she simply speak to us in a civil manner? Did she lack even the most fundamental sense of respect? We pointed out that they had promised us toothbrushes two days prior and asked if this was somehow *our* fault; she simply shouted back again, "I already told you—I gave the toothbrushes to other people!" Yet, she had spoken with great patience to the white guests who were ahead of us in line. I found her to be incredibly racist; her attitude shifted drastically depending on who she was dealing with. Honestly, the only decent thing about this hotel is its exterior appearance; the overall service and amenities are completely inferior to a Holiday Inn—despite it supposedly being a four-star hotel. If you are on a tight budget, you would be better off staying at a motel than at this place. You can rarely find anyone at the front desk; on the day we checked in, we waited nearly half an hour—calling the hotel's Google-listed contact number repeatedly with no answer—before someone finally showed up. Do *not* be tempted to stay at this hotel just to save a few dollars; I’ve seen many reviews from previous guests stating that the hotel often refuses to refund security deposits. I have lived in the United States for over a decade, and this is—absolutely, unequivocally—the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
