Quality Inn Altamonte Springs

I will not stay at this particular Hampton Inn again, although I have family in the area and visit frequently. At check-in, Margaret, snooty from the start, upgraded my room without my request, knowledge or consent. Luckily, I keep excellent records and had printed documentation with me, so I could prove what she had done. Still, at check-out I had a 25-minute battle with Adrian, who told me there was no manager on duty to correct it and besides, it was my word against Margaret's. That's when I showed my printed reservation. I told him he'd better text someone, because I wasn't leaving until it was corrected. He finally issued credit of about $80. Aside from the fraud and incompetence at the front desk, it's a nice hotel. Such a shame. I've already told my family so that they'll steer people away from this place.

Always see the staff working to maintain cleanliness, whether it's mopping/ dusting the front lobby area, cleaning front entrance glass door, breakfast area or grounds area (trimming bushes, blowing leaves off the sidewalk). Desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Even had a cleaning staff member help me take my suitcase to the car! I appreciate the help and other helpful items to help with accessibility.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-North/Altamonte Springs for one night while our high school tennis team was in town for a tournament. We specifically booked room 622, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice with absolutely no complaints. The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The comfortable 2 queen Hampton bed provided a great night’s sleep after a long day of matches. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, from the plush bedding to the updated bathroom. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the ergonomic work desk (great for catching up on emails), free WiFi that worked perfectly, a good-sized flat-screen TV, microwave, and mini-fridge. The room was quiet despite being on a higher floor, and we never heard any hallway or outside noise. The entire hotel impressed us with its cleanliness. The lobby, elevators, and common areas were immaculate, and you could tell the staff takes real pride in keeping the property in top shape. The outdoor pool looked inviting (though we didn’t have time to use it this trip), and the fitness center appeared well-equipped for guests who want to stay active. One of the highlights was the free hot breakfast the next morning. It had a nice variety of options—fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, and plenty of coffee and juice. Everything tasted fresh and was replenished quickly. It was a convenient and delicious way to fuel up before heading out for the day. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just off I-4, making it easy to get to local attractions, the Altamonte Mall, restaurants, and about 20-30 minutes from the Orlando theme parks. Free parking was a nice bonus, and the front desk staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful during check-in and checkout. Overall, this was a smooth, comfortable, and hassle-free stay. For families, sports teams, or anyone needing a reliable base near Orlando, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-North/Altamonte Springs. We’ll definitely book here again on our next visit to the area!
