Kona Kai Motel

I just spent a week at the Kona Kai Motel and I will definitely be back. I’ve been coming to Sanibel for many many years and have passed by the Kona Kai hundreds of times. I worked remotely during the day (having the living area was perfect for this) and did fun stuff in the afternoon and evening! I highly recommend this motel! The staff was very friendly, the accommodations were excellent, everything is new and refreshed—even the towels had the fresh laundered scent! Having the kitchen setup was great. And they also had beach towels and beach chairs to use. I love to walk and this location is close to everything that you would need – – market, restaurants, shopping, etc. Every day I would walk to the beach via Donax Rd. I highly recommend and will be back!

I couldn’t have asked for better lodging. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Everything that I needed was supplied. It was the perfect place to call home for a few days. As a single traveler, I felt very safe and secure.

The room and surrounding area was clean and quiet. There were three very good restaurants within in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.
