Holiday Inn and Suites near Busch Gardens

Arrived to an empty front desk. Waited and waited. Knocked on the door”employees only” door but no answer. Called and the phone on the desk in front of me rang and rang then went to voicemail. Called the main reservation number and was put on hold. After approximately 10 minutes of me standing in the lobby trying to figure out how to get my room, an employee showed up and checked me in. The room itself was large and spacious, but dirty, and more than well worn. The floors were sticky so I could not go barefoot. The ac did not work. There was no hot water for a shower so I went without. I can overlook a lot of things and I have stayed in a lot of places, but I would say do not stay here unless you are absolutely desperate for a place to sleep.

Stains on everything, smelled bad, tv doesn’t work, woke up sick and congested. Never coming back again a day in my life.

This hotel is a great stay for the price. The rooms are clean, and the property is well-maintained. It is an older hotel, but it looks like they have made some recent improvements to the rooms. I would recommend it if you just need somewhere to stay for a quick weekend or a few days.
