Marriott Atlanta Alpharetta

Older Full Service Marriott that makes up for the older nature with great service. Lobby is LOUD and like a sales convention at night. Rooms are clean and comfortable but everything is dated.

I understand things happen and not everything is perfect but some things are bigger than others. Like the roach in our bathroom in the middle of the night. Turned the light on at approx 2AM and there was a huge roach. Too late to change rooms and too tired to call for someone. When we went to the front desk to report it at 6:30AM on our way to breakfast, the person said “I heard about that”. How? I didn’t report it so it must have been another room that experienced it too. The gentleman did switch our room (this was before management arrived for the day). When we stopped at the desk on our way out for the day, the manager was there and we were explained what happened, his reaction was “now I know what to focus on this morning”. And that was it. Nothing else. No attempt to offer something to make up for it. Zero. Fully charged for 2 nights and my breakfasts. The place is run down and with that attitude, why stay here. Never again. Oh and if management comes back to me now, after this review, to apologize: too late.

The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely focused on providing outstanding hospitality. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.The restaurant and lounge were clean, inviting, and created a comfortable atmosphere to relax and enjoy .
