Atlanta Marriott Downtown

Stayed here with my husband and teenage kids for 3 nights as we took in Atlanta. The first night we went to a Braves game so we didn’t really enjoy the hotel much but we had a 2 bedded room with a balcony that overlooked the pool. They upgraded us to a king with a sofa bed which seemed very strange considering I had booked 2 beds so I had them change it back and paid $20 for the upgrade to the balcony and pool view. That is my only complaint is that they nickel and dimed a diamond member over that upgrade otherwise the hotel was nice, the beds comfortable ( their pillows were a bit flat for my liking) and the service in the restaurant was wonderful especially Shawn the manager and Iris for breakfast. Shawn was so kind and Iris was very efficient! The hotel is located within walking distance of every thing we wanted to do: aquarium, Mercedes Benz, and college football hall of fame. It was the perfect way to wrap up our vacation.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew this was going to be a great stay. Eric and Renee made check-in one of the best hotel check-in experiences I’ve ever had. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They made me feel valued as a guest, answered all of my questions, and started my stay off on the perfect note. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the entire staff has been friendly and accommodating. It’s clear that customer service is a priority here. A special thank you to Eric and Renee for setting such a high standard for hospitality. Their outstanding service made a lasting first impression, and I’m already looking forward to the rest of my stay. If the beginning is any indication, I know this is going to be an excellent experience. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
