Comfort Suites Acworth

We are an elderly couple and our Handicapped Accessible room on the first floor was excellent. We especially loved the shower and the open space in the main room. The breakfast was nice both mornings. However, I wish the breakfast had been open until 10:00 on Sunday. We left at 7:00 am to go to an 8:00 am service and rushed back to get breakfast but missed it by about 5 minutes.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for Thanksgiving while we were visiting family. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was above and beyond. We want to send a special shout-out to Lynette Evans for being so helpful during our stay. She really understands the hospitality business. All IHG properties should have someone like her.

I was charged 16,000 points for this stay but in my opinion it wasnt worth more than 10,000. You should be embarrassed about chargung 16,000. In addition, I was not given my welcome points. This despite 2 requests before leaving the hotel, a phone call to the hotel, and an inquiry in the IHG app. I finally got the points after contacting IHG customer service. Stayed here on the way to Atlanta and fortunately I was there less than 10 hours. There are signs all over saying the hotel is undergoing renovations yet the only sign of a possible renovation was cardboard in the elevator. There is definitely a lot of wear and tear and it could benefit from some TLC. The breakfast was embarrassing. It contained some turkey sausage, some sausage links, barely any fruit, cereal but no milk, no eggs, small assortment of debatable bread products and pre-packaged cinnamon rolls - not the ones they are known for. When I inquired about the lackluster breakfast options I was told they "missed a food truck". If that's the case you could go out and purchase all of the above options at the grocery store. I'll never stay here again and I recommend you keep going down 75 in either direction to have a quality stay - if even for a night.
