Hampton Inn Atlanta- Marietta

I travel for a living. Forty-eight weeks a year for the better part of a decade, everything from luxury resorts to roadside motels. I know the difference between a hotel that's simply old and one that's being run into the ground. This was the worst stay of my career, and it wasn't close. The problems started at check-in, when we learned housekeeping isn't automatic here. You have to sign up in advance to get your room cleaned. I've never encountered that at any property, let alone a Wyndham. On top of that, our keycards deactivated every single day, so we were back at the front desk constantly just to get into our own room. Then we found cockroaches in the room. Once you've watched an insect cross your floor, there's no recovering your confidence in anything else the property claims about cleanliness. And then the capper: we were told the pool had been closed by the Department of Health. When a government agency shuts down your amenities, that isn't bad luck. It's a pattern. Older hotels, I can forgive. Neglect, I can't. This place was unsanitary, poorly managed, and unfit for the one promise every hotel makes: a clean, safe place to sleep. There are better options in Marietta at the same price or less. I wouldn't stay here again if the room were free. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

The staff were nice and friendly. The location was great….. restaurants and stores were nearby. The room was nice and comfortable. I will book again the near future‼️
