HAMPTON INN - SUITES ATLANTA-D

We arrived later than expected, but Tee and Denmark were exceptional! We really appreciate them.

Location is close to all downtown activities. The Olympic park is a couple blocks away. Unfortunately it was closed due to the soccer games a month ago. The Atlanta’s Mart is about a 5 min walk away. Safe area of town. The hotel is a bit dated but not dirty. The breakfast is very good. We stayed 5 nights and the hot breakfast changes daily. The front receptionists were wonderful to work with. Tee went out of her way to make sure we had the best accommodations! Darla (breakfast area) is very welcoming and a joyful person. We stayed in a double queen studio (no separate door for bedroom area) and a King suite. This had a door to separate the room from the living area. Rooms are spacious except for when you pull out the hide a bed. It becomes very tight and hard to walk to the bathroom from the beds. Outside the dated rooms I would give this a 5 star for service and location!

The ADA room, when I first entered it, was not complete up to code. However, once I pointed out some of the issues (too high clothes rack in closet, soap/shampoo not reachable from shower chair) the hotel fixed them that day. It was amazing to see such customer service and I really appreciate it. Kudos to engineering and management for taking my comments seriously.
