Comfort Suites Augusta

As a family traveling 20 hours across the country , we got put between 2 rooms of basketball players in there young teens . Was wondering where the coaches were for supervision , and why were were in the middle of them . Running around the halls up to 1 am , loud and slamming doors. The front desk said they couldn’t do anything about it . As a customer service curtesy, offering a room change , discount , or even offer to talk to the coaches. Anything would have been better than “ We can’t do anything” Do not recommend for a peaceful stay .

Perhaps the rudest staff I've ever encountered at a hotel in three decades. 11 o'clock at night after check-in at 8 PM. There was a large amount of noise and a group at the pool. The pool closed at nine. About 10 people very loud with music. I called the hotel front desk, who says to me this is a party hotel not a rest hotel. What do you expect? I said I expected to be able to go to sleep at 11 o'clock at night and would he please go ask them to perhaps talk softer. He said that that shouldn't be my expectation. 30 minutes later the room next to me with someone jumping around and hitting walls, that goes on for 30 minutes. I call back and ask him what is going on, and he says that he doesn't do security. He asked me if I wanted to go to a different hotel? The next morning when I go to check out, he says "oh you're the one who wanted to sleep. You're probably better off going to more expensive hotels. People come to that hotel to party." I just looked at him and said that was not very nice. And of course, let’s not mention the broken TV wires coming out of the wall and TV tilted way down.

Great service nice staff. Walking in smelling good. Room was smelling good and good snacks.
