Holiday Inn Gordon Highway

Wallet was stolen from room when it was being cleaned. Front desk said they didn't know who the person scheduled to clean the room was. So they have no idea who is going into rooms to clean them on any given day.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is clean and nice in appearance. The fitness center is nicely equipped. The breakfast is satisfactory. The fruit was limited and the hot items were okay. They did change things up each day which was nice. The rooms are nice, but I found the beds to be difficult to sleep in - too firm, perhaps? The TV is nice, but the streaming services you can sign into are limited and they did not have the option to cast from my laptop or phone, which would have been nice. The bathroom was nice, but I would have liked a bathtub/shower combo instead of a shower only. One thing that was unfortunate was that I could hear the person directly above me using the bathroom and listening to the news in the morning. The walls and floors are easy to hear through. The business center was closed for renovation - which was an inconvenience. However, the staff offered to print out whatever we needed. The hot tub and pool area were closed and I'm not sure why. They were uncovered and it was certainly warm enough, but even when it should have been open hours, the sign said closed.

Hilton Diamond member. When I arrived at front desk I gave my name, said I had a reservation. Couldn’t find my name and suggested I probably had a reservation at a nearby Hilton property. I showed my reservation on the app and they were able to find my reservation. Customer before me had same difficulty finding their reservation. It’s an older property. Outside well maintained. Our room (204) the bathroom sink drained poorly. Took about 10 minutes to drain. Reported at end of our two night stay. Breakfast limited. Dining area/tables not real clean. Front desk staff could use some training.
