Serenity in the Mountains Spa and Luxury

We’ve spent our New Year’s holidays at Serenity for about the last seven years, staying in different suites and enjoying the spa services. We especially enjoy the upstairs 3-bedroom suite. Both the accommodations and services have always met and/or exceeded our expectations.

I gave my daughter this as a christmas gift. BEST GIFT EVER!! So professional, inviting and knowledgeable staff. Truly the BEST spa experience. From the minute we entered the door it was a calming enjoyable experience. Will definitely go back.

Accommodations - great! Getaway with girlfriends. The cabin/condo/suites are very nice. Fireplace. Lots of goodies are provided upon checkin. Chocolate covered strawberries were a real treat! Plush towels; nice quality & quantity. Comfy beds & large bathrooms. Big TV for watching late nite movies. Nice to have a kitchen. Outdoor seating areas too. Spa - good overall. Very clean. Ambiance/setting - great! But too many people use their cell phones even though instructed not to use them in the spa. Locker room is very nice. Salt cave - meh. Wouldn’t waste my time or money on this again. You lay in a chair in a dark, cold room for 45 minutes with salt on the floor & salt in the air. They tell you not to leave until time’s up. Music was annoying. Would be much better with just ocean waves or rain sounds or even just white noise. Massage - good. Would’ve been better with a more experienced massage therapist. That’s a gamble anywhere. Pedicure - ok. Concrete seats aren’t very comfy but I’m sure they’re durable. Pedicurist did great with the toes/polish, but feet weren’t smooth after I left. Facial - nice. Aesthetician did lots of facial steps & mini massage during the mask. She didn’t ask about my skin & didn’t tell me about the products or steps. Had to ask. She seemed surprised that I wanted to know about what’s going on my skin. We’ll definitely be back! Overall nice experience. Just sharing some feedback.
