Red Roof Inn Macon West

We felt a bit uncomfortable here. The shower curtain was very moldy and there were bugs in the bathroom as well as sticky something on bathroom door. There were a lot of sketchy looking ppl with very beat up cars in the parking lot. Around the back side it seemed ppl lived in there rooms full time with old sofas outside the rooms and "beware of dog" signs in the windows.

A good value. Clean room. Larger than normal refrigerator. Small but adequate microwave. No coffee maker in the room or coffee in the lobby. Very close by Walmart if you want to buy a cheap coffee maker. We usually travel with a coffee maker. Good restaurants close by. We will probably continue to stay here when passing through.

Run!!!!! Do not stay there!! The owner has a large aggressive dog that he lets roam the property and terrorize the guests and dogs. The hotel is a hot bed for shady people loitering around, loud cars with loud music coming and going. I saw live bugs in the bathroom and what looked like feces smearedon the walls of the bathroom. Mold on the shower head and a horrible musty smell in the room. I left after 3 hours as we did not feel safe staying here. The worst place I 've ever seen.
