If You’re Considering a Temporary Stay at InTown Suites on Roswell Road in Marietta, Read About My Experience First! In January 2025, our home was destroyed by a fire. My husband and I needed temporary housing and checked into InTown Suites on Roswell Road in Marietta, expecting to stay only a short time. Unfortunately, it took us 18 months to get back on our feet. We were finally able to move out June 2026- just a few weeks ago. What we expected to be a temporary solution turned into a very difficult and frustrating experience. The first property manager, Tina, was, in my opinion, ineffective in handling the responsibilities of managing the hotel. Numerous maintenance requests either “got lost” or she claimed she couldn’t locate them. We were repeatedly given inaccurate information from Tina about when repairs would be completed, and the maintenance staff was often blamed for issues that were never addressed. Communication was consistently frustrating, and it became difficult to trust what we were being told. After Tina left, management improved from the previous poor management. The new manager, Amari, has been compassionate, professional, and genuinely concerned about the residents. Theresa, the floating manager, was also kind, caring, and always willing to help whenever possible. I also want to recognize the maintenance crew. They worked hard and did the best they could with the resources they had. Many of the problems appeared to be beyond their control. Below are the issues we experienced during our stay at InTown Suites on Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia: 1. The kitchenette stove had only one working burner when we moved into our room. It was not replaced until several months later. 2. The microwave was missing the panel covering the fan and was never repaired or replaced. 3. There was a continuous water leak beneath the refrigerator that was never fixed. 4. We experienced an ongoing roach infestation. 5. Mold developed along the bathroom ceiling. 6. Mushrooms began growing from the bathroom ceiling. 7. Water continuously leaked from the bathroom ceiling. 8. The kitchen cabinets were outdated and showed extensive water damage. 9. The kitchen sink leaked, causing additional damage to the lower cabinet. My husband eventually repaired it himself. 10. There was a persistent odor of water damage beneath the kitchen sink. 11. A broken window remained unrepaired throughout our stay. 12. The bathroom medicine cabinet and mirror fell off the wall and struck my arm. It was never replaced, and my husband had to patch the holes left in the wall. 13. We went through the entire winter of 2025 without heat because the HVAC unit in our room was broken. The unit was not replaced until early 2026. 14. The building’s only elevator has been out of service since February 2026. This review reflects our personal experience during our 18-month stay. While we encountered a few caring employees who truly tried to help, the overall condition of the property and the unresolved maintenance issues made what was already a difficult chapter in our lives even more challenging.

Overall, my experience here has been outstanding, and I owe it all to Amari the manager. Ms. Amari is very professional, friendly and goes out of her way to ensure that I am happy to be here. This location is convenient, with easy access to local shopping, dining, and entertainment options. It’s very peaceful with clean rooms. The amenities include a kitchenette, free Wi-Fi and a laundry facility. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Marietta!

First let me start off by saying the hotel staff is never in the office, call the number never get an answer. Came in and training person at desk didn't know how to check in and manager had to show her everything which took 40 mins to complete. Then was told room wasn't ready and come back in 30 minutes. Really, I booked online SMH. Then told must pay an extra additional 50.00 for my stay and after my stay would be refunded and this was a liessssssssss but ok. Second date at hotel keypad didn't work, locked out the room and had wait 3 hours to get back in the room. Next door lady was hollering all night while on the phone. Side door open closing all night. I was so happy this was short lived. All and all never got my money and staff lied said we took pillows and sheets I never used them and place in the closet and told me o yeah, they charge you for linen get the hell out of here liesssss.45.00 All and all just avoid this place .... o yeah forgot the hotel did have water damage during my stay as well.
