Hampton Inn and Suites

The hotel is beautiful. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The staff in the breakfast room was excellent and they made sure NO mess or trash ever overflowed, even with a large family reunion gathering at the hotel. Michelle was an outstanding staff worker who constantly greeted my family with a smile and never stopped making sure the entire breakfast area was cleaned, organized, and well stocked. Location is excellent to downtown proximity. It is a short walk to the famous Marketplace and a 10 minute walk to the riverwalk. Perfect and affordable for families with small children like ours!

The A/C was broken on the top floor on a 98-degree day. The temperature in the room was 82 and rising when we left at 7 pm to find another hotel. We were told they were fully booked and there was nothing else they could do to remedy the situation other than send me some points! The air had been broken for at least 3 days! They should have contacted me ahead of time. At a minimum, they should have NEVER been checking people into that section of the hotel. I was told by the front desk that "the decision was made to sell the rooms anyway." 4th of July plans ruined! Nobody should ever stay at this location!

It’s in a great place! The rooms were clean and nice space.
